When times get tough….

I make a plan!  Do you have one?  This is where much of my focus is right now and I invite you, OK, REQUIRE you to make a plan for yourself!

1) I look around me… who “gets” it and who doesn’t.  Those in gloom and doom can’t stay in my circle.

2) I look for what people NEED right now.  A lot has shifted over the last 6 months- people don’t need or want the same thing they did 6 months ago, a year ago.  You need to stay ahead of the curve.  You need to reach people where they are in their head and their heart. CREATE what is needed.

3) I spend more.  I just signed up for a marketing conference, I am looking for an even higher level coach, I am planning for a retreat in March, and I spending more advertising dollars.  A turtle never kept moving forward by sticking his head back in the shell….

Join me and other clients…I am taking everyone to dinner!  I LOVE GIVING!

4) I go big or go home (thanks, Rosie!).  This is a time of opportunity.  It is a time of growth and it is a time of urgency.  Don’t stay in bed or you will be left behind.

5) I give more.  I donate more to what I care about- Breast Cancer Research, The Campaigns, friends….

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month: http://www.komen.org/

6) I remember that marketing is a moral obligation.  I am not ashamed or afraid of marketing.  I am invigorated at the opportunity to share my message and gifts with others!

7) I re-do my vision board.  I make it bigger.  I make it more timely.  I make it more authentic.  And I pay more attention to it.

8 ) I upgrade my life every way I can… where I eat, what I wear, how I travel, who I spend my time with.

9) I write daily:  Money does not come from people it comes through people.

10) I have more fun.  I seek joy.  I love more.

Life is waiting.  Have a plan.

Do you ever just sit and imagine?

Last night someone told me that I live an exaggerated fantasy life….I think they meant it as negative, but I can’t stop thinking about it.

I think it is one of the things that keeps me motivated.  I am always onto the next big dream or fantasy in my mind.  Those deep exaggerations inspire me to look at my possibility and not my circumstances.

J.K.  Rowlings had fantasised the entire Harry Potter series before she even scribbled the outlines on napkins in a diner.

I try to remember that when I think-”Oh, Suzanne…get back to reality!”  It reminds me that fantasy is where all the good stuff happens…where all the books are written, money is made, lives are changed, and visions are formed.

Daydreaming,

Suzanne
