Authenticity sticks!

Oh, the poor thing.  It kept falling to the floor.  I triend again…fell to the floor.  Then it tore.  Then it had no stckie left at all………..

I was laying out the big new project I am working on and decided to do it with post it notes on an empty wall and I was really in a flow- my idea was working…it was helping me focus!  EXCEPT……. the post it notes weren’t sticking and I was cussing.  Finally, I walked over to the package to check out the problem- did I make the wrong purchase?  And there I saw it.  It was all clear.  I had not bought post it notes I had bought Staples generic brand of post it notes.  Poor thing- they were trying to be post it notes, but they weren’t.  They couldn’t.

What are you trying to be?  Is it working?  Authenticity sticks and it’s easier.  Just be you.  There will be no one better at it.

Ain’t nothin like the real thing baby,

Suzanne

Oh absolutely. I wrote a post on my blog about how I love post-it notes and I say in there “don’t get the cheap stuff” :)
