NO PARKING

Published by Suzanne Evans   |   May 27, 2008   |   2 Comments

Today I was standing on the curb waiting for a cab and a sign caught my attention. NO PARKING. My immediate reaction was – Hey! I’d like a neon sign to remind me of that every now and then. How many of us have been parked in our lives, our jobs, our relationships, our business, or our finances? I am learning (slowly!) that you don’t have to be certain of where you are going…..just hit the gas. You are missing so much by staying parked- even if you are lost……choose to drive. Ready for the truth? It’s the only way you are ever gonna get to where you wanna go.  No one ever did a road trip in a parking space.

Buckle up,

Suzanne

Wow, Suzanne. I love your blog. Your words of wisdom just kicked me in the ass. I’m definitely parked right now, and have been for awhile. And even when I do decide to drive around a bit, it usually means I’m just driving around in circles in the parking lot.

    Thanks for the inspiration!

Some really great thoughts there, Suzanne. (BTW, I have a “No Parking” sign on my fridge….just a reminder not to be standing in front of the fridge with lingering looks. lol)
