Recession, recession.  I had a client tell me this morning she might have to lower her rates due to the recession.  Then , I asked “so how many people have complained about your rates?”

Answer: none. Hmmm.  Reality or mindset?

    Suzanne,

Let me be the first to give the recession mentality my version, the double fisted middle finger! It is time to re-prioritize not panic. Nora Hiller

    Suzanne:

It just reminds me of the phrase “Argue for your limitations and sure enough, they are yours!” There is a difference between reality and pessimism. If you have clients who say “I can’t pay that because of (X), that is reality. If no one has told you your rates are too high, don’t over-react. Just keep believing in yourself, in what you are doing. If you make a self-discovery that you want to change direction, then do it. Be sure that is a course change and not a full stop. Bright Blessings, all!
