It’s how often you show up……
I love dogs. I also love dog shows. I really love showing dogs in dog shows. It’s just so me…..the drama, the theatrical nature, the competition, the excitement, the rush, the preparation, the adreanaline, the win….. (see Lucky Boy being groomed above as a puppy).
But, here is a little insight about dog shows. YES! Even the biggies on TV like Westminster. Wanna know how you win?
Well, first you gotta have a dog in the show.
Second, the dog has to meet the requirements.
Third, you show up over and over.
Yep. I didn’t know this when I first started. I thought there was a magic formula or a path to success and seniority. Nope. If you keep showing up and doing the work consistently the judges begin to recognize you as serious and committed. When you become familiar- you start winning. Sounds like a marketing plan to me.
Do you have a dog in the show? (Service/product)
Does it meet the requirements? (Solve a problem)
Do you keep showing up? (Speaking, newsletters, blogs, writing, asking, doing, etc)
It’s that simple folks! Don’t mess it up.
Dog ciao,
Suzanne
